Fixing pictures to door - How does it work?

Whether it’s a photo, a canvas or a picture on a board: for your picture to hang properly on the wall, it needs to be well thought out. However, the ideal place for your work of art does not always have to be on your wall. Some walls are simply not suitable for supporting pictures on the wall. This may be due, for example, to the sensitive surface or the load-bearing capacity of the wall.

How do I attach my pictures to the door without drilling?

Hello dear GAEKKO team,

The question is actually already written in the title above. I have a lot of photos from my last holiday and would like to hang them on my bedroom door. Unfortunately, my photos don’t really stick with simple adhesive tape and keep falling off the door. Since it is a plastic door and not a wooden door, drilling is probably not an option. However, I would have been very reluctant to drill a hole in my door.

So it’s out of the question for me to hang my photos on the wall with small nails. How do you attach photos and the like to a door without drilling? Have you tried using a cord or rope? The photos could simply be hung on the cord or rope with small picture hooks.

And now it gets a little trickier: I also have a picture under acrylic glass without a frame and without a wall mount. Is it possible to stick a somewhat larger picture directly on a door? Is it possible or is such a picture under acrylic glass too heavy? During my internet research, I saw that there is a special glue for fixing pictures under acrylic glass, which is also used in the bathroom for mirrors. However, it doesn’t seem to be suitable for a simple room door. When you remove the glue, you are sure to leave glue residue and the door will be damaged. Do you know a way to attach pictures to doors without damaging the door?
